PROGRAM:

Day 1

Arrival to Moscow, meeting with the guide at the airport and visit to the museum-reserve Kolomenskoye — the royal estate of XVI-XIX centuries. The historical center of Kolomenskoye, the Tsar’s Courtyard, was encompassed by a wall, partly stone and partly wooden, with two passage gates, namely the Front (Palace) Gate, the gala entrance to the Tsar’s estate, and the Saviour (Back) Gate. The most significant attraction is the Ascension Church, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage monument. Another three architectural landmarks are located in the immediate vicinity of the Church: St. George the Victorious Bell Tower (16th c.), Water Tower (17th c.) and Hunting Pavilion (19th c.).

Day 2

Breakfast in the hotel. City tour around Moscow. You will see magnificent places of city. It is Tverskaya street who starts from the Kremlin and continues to Puskiskaya square and follow to famouse Belarusskaya square; intersting decoration of New Arbat and monumental Victory’s park, see modern district of Moscow, take a photos on the background of panorama of Moscow from the Vorobjev Mountains. Stop for a photo in the most beautiful places.

Visit of the main Moscow cathedral — Christ the Savior Cathedral.  Inspection of the interiors of the Cathedral. Paintings of the main dome, which is located at an altitude of 69 meters. Its sacred images on pylons and niches in the central part of the Temple. You will see the iconostasis which is made in the form of an octahedral chapel of white marble. Its height is 27 meters. Visit to the Lower Temple, in whose decoration elements of ancient Russian architecture and painting were used.

Lunch in the restaurant and tasting traditioal russian cuisine.
Excursion to the Kremlin: Kremlin is the heart of Russia. It was founded by prince Yury Dolgoruky and was  wooden fortress in 1156 as the town of Moscow. The name “kremlin” was only first recorded in the 14th century. The Kremlin which we see today was constructed in the late 15th century. Moscow prince Ivan the Great dreamed of building a capital that would equal Constantinople in grandeur and importance. He called his dream the «Third Rome» and brought architects from Italy. Most of their work you may see today. Famous Cathedral Square and oldest cathedrals, the Bell Tower, Tsar Cannon, and Tsar Bell.

Free time, walks around the city on your own.

Day 3

Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to the Izmailovo Kremlin, beautiful complex of time of Peter I. The original buildings in the style of ancient Russia. Also you may buy beautiful russian souvenirs.

Visit of museum of Russian vodka. In the Museum you can see vodka bottles of different sizes, from shkalik (or kosushka) to shtof and quarter. The pride of the Museum is the bottle produced at the Kronshtadt table wine distillery in 1862. You will understand what chekushka is, how big the traditional Russian cup (charka, cheporuha) is, how drinking houses, or kabaks, are different from tractirs that appeared in Russia in the 1880’s, and what kinds of vodka were the most popular among members of different social groups. The choices were very wide: «Smirnovskaya», «Petrovskaya», «Popovka» (produced at the distillery of widow Popova) and «Pshenichnaya» (wheat), «Russkoe Dobro» (Russian goods) and «Dvoinaya Gor’kaya» (double bitter)…

Lunch in old Russian restaurant.

The journey through the underground palace in Moscow — the Moscow subway. You will know stories and secrets hidden underground, urban legends and funny stories, how deep is moscow metro/ you will see magnificent station and sculptures, impressive mural mosaic and panno from stained glass.
Free time, walks around the city on your own.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel, the release rates to 12.00. Transfer to the airport and flight home.
