Day 1 — Moscow

Wellcome to river cruise in Russia who starts from capital of Russia — Moscow. It is realy modern and beauty city with colorful day and night life.  It is a great city with the inhabitants more than 13 millions. After transfer to the ship you will have a meeting with your assistant who inform you about all details of your trip and answer at any questions.

Besfore the river cruise in Russia at the ship you will have also:

Day  2 — Moscow NORTH RIVER PORT

Today you will have Musical wake-up call and Breakfast aboard

Than you will go to the bus city tour. You will see Palace of Congresses, Senate square: Arsenal, Senate buildings; residence of the President of the Russian Federation, Tsar bell and Tsar cannon, Cathedral Square ensemble: Assumption cathedral, Archangel cathedral and Annunciation cathedral with visit to one of them.

Also you will have a free time at the Red square and small walking in the shop №1- GUM. GUM is the biggest shop in Russia with very interesting history and beautiful decoration.

Lunch at the city restaurant

After lunch city tour will continue and you will see the main cathedral of Moscow — Cathedral of Christ the Savior. You know very interesting history of it.

Return on board and all aboard!

Day 3 — Uglich

Arrival to Uglich

Walking city tour in Uglich. Uglich is the town where one of the most momentous events of the Russian history took place in the 16th century. It was then that the last member of the Ruirik dynasty, the young Tsarevich Dmitry was murdered. You will see the main the city’s attractions of Uglich.

Among its: Church of St Dmitry on the spilt Blood. Built in 1690 on the spot where Dmitry had been murdered it appears on the horizon with its red walls and blue domes as one sails north on the Volga;

The Uglich Kremlin is a magnificent ensemble of historical buildings, the pearls of which are the Transfiguration Cathedral with a bell tower, the Church of Tsarevich Dmitriy on the Blood and the prince’s chambers with a beautiful front staircase-porch;

The chambers of the specific princes are the most famous ancient monument in Uglich and one of the oldest buildings in Russia. They are part of the historical complex of the Kremlin and occupy the central part of the princely palace and others interesting places of traditional Russia.

Arrival to Goritsy

Welcome to the Northwest of Russia, the village of Goritsy, home to the Resurrection Convent, standing at the shoreline. You will visit the historical and art museum-reserve — Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, located 7 km from the village. In terms of area, it is only slightly inferior to the Moscow Kremlin. Near the monastery is the Holy Lake, where you can swim in warm weather. Near the village of Goritsy is Mount Maura, whose height above sea level is 185 m. According to legend, the Monk Kirill Belozersky saw from this place the place for the construction of the monastery. You will visit the Assumption Cathedral, an exhibition of church utensils, icons, wooden sculptures.

Excursion to open-air museum of wooden architecture at the island of the northeast of Lake Onega. The history of Kizhi island goes back to ancient times. The ancestors of modern Kizhan were the Slavs of Novgorod. In the X-XI centuries, they began to develop the northern edges. The basis of the museum collection is the Kizhi Pogost ensemble is included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Mandrogi is a village on the Svir River, which, although it does not have any special historical value, nevertheless, attracts thousands of tourists annually. In Mandrogs you will see beautiful wooden houses in the Russian style, many of them are decorated with intricate carvings painted in bright, rich colors. There are also traditional Russian houses of masters where you can see and purchase their products, plunge into the life of our ancestors. In Mandrogs it’s both beautiful and interesting — everyone will find time to spend their time to taste — there is a craft settlement, a glade of fairy tales with carved heroes of fairy tales.

Arrival to Saint-Petersburg

Bus city tour to St.Petersburg. You will see the main St. Petersburg sights, hear the guide tell about them, take good photos. You will see Palace Square, the arrow of Vasilyevsky Island and Nevsky Prospect, the Winter Palace, Kazan and St. Isaac’s Cathedrals, the Admiralty. Famous Egyptian sphinxes, monuments to Peter I (The Bronze Horseman) and Nicholas I. You will have Stops on the route: the inimitable Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the revolutionary Smolny Cathedral, the famous St. Isaac’s Square.

Lunch in the city center

Visit to Hermitage. Оne of the most visited museums in Europe, in importance and cultural heritage, it is on the same level as the Paris Louvre. The Hermitage is one of the twenty largest art museums in the world. You will see the ceremonial halls and interiors of the palace, objects of art of ancient civilizations, unique masterpieces of the Hermitage, among which are works by Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Titian.

Return to the ship.
